WELCOME to JAPAN YUMURA ONSEN Tourism Guide

Every year, the town of Yumura Onsen is the stage for the National Hide and Seek Tournament.
"Moiiyo!" is the phrase for the "oni" to go looking for the players who are hiding.
You can hear the seekers' joyful shouts when they find the hiders in this unique event held every year. When those hiding are found, the "oni" takes them to the home base and the participant draws a lot. If you are lucky, you can get a special prize.
If you are unlucky, you may have a penalty game. With a range of tickets for hotels and local specialities, every participant can enjoy this event.
