Yumura Onsen, which was first opened in the Heian Period, located in Hyogo-ken Mikata-gun Shinonsen-cho Ooaza quiet and historical onsen town surrounded by mountains.
Situated in the northwestern portion of Hyogo prefecture, on the San’in coastline, and bordering Tottori prefecture, Yumura Onsen is surrounded by nature. To the south there is the nationally designated Hyonosen-Ushiroyama-Nagisan Quasi-National park, several mountains centered around Mt. Ouginosen, the Ueyama-Hataganaru highlands, and hidden away by a young forest of Japanese beech and horse chestnut trees, Kirigatake falls and Komatagawa valley.

There is a dir ct flight between Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport) and Tottori Airport, which is in the neighboring prefecture. From Tottori Airport it takes approximately 45 minutes to reach Yumura Onsen by bus or train.

You can access Yumura Onsen from Tottori Airport either by rental car or by taking a shuttle bus from Tottori airport to JR Tottori Station, and then catching the train.
